OpenAI wants an AI agent doing your desk work, not just answering questions

OpenAI introduced Presence, aimed at enterprises, and is folding browser- and desktop-level agent control — reading inboxes, using apps like Slack, Notion and Figma, taking approved actions — directly into ChatGPT, retiring its standalone Atlas browser in the process.
